Thomas Nelson Cancels Open House
Christian publishing house Thomas Nelson called off its Open House for Christian retailers for the second time in a year. They’re blaming the economy for holding off on the event that was originally supposed to be held at the company’s headquarters in Nashville in April 2009. Earlier this year Thomas Nelson pushed the event to 2010 but has now decided that it will not happen next year either.
Thomas Nelson told ChristianRetailing.com that program would have put too much of a financial burden on the company and on retailers who would have to be away from their stores to attend the open house. The open house idea started in 2008 when Thomas Nelson said it would no longer participate in CBA’s winter show because it would be more cost-effective to instead bring retailers to them. About 100 retailers were invited to Nashville for the open house and all of their expenses were paid for. |

It’s shameful! Jesus said to the Pharisees: “Render to Caesar what are Caesar’s and to God what is God.” [Matthew 8]: Jesus Christ is the ultimate Judge on Earth: Absolutely, Jesus Christ is coming back to Judge us all whether good or bad! [Acts 17: 30: Ezekiel 18: 30-32]: Jesus Christ is coming back like a thief therefore; no one knows when He is coming back! [Acts 1: 6-8]: Every Christian Publishing house have failed to accomplish the Great Commission [Matt 28]: They ignore unknown authors who bring to them books with great message that Jesus commands as fundamental moral obligation. I am unknown author, but I have great message to tell the world, Christian publishers ignore them because I do not have a platform. It is absolutely the most awfully that Christian publishers ever failed to achieve in the United States. Money is the word!
Thomas Nelson cancels open house twice because they are experiencing financial burdens. One of the giants Christian publishers in the country are lacking money; and cancel open house: Shame on you! Put first God in every activity of your business! Faith counts! What did Jesus taught? “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you!” Solomon did not ask for wealth but for wisdom!! Truth isn’t it? Oh no, I am speaking offensive ideas! Well, Jesus spoke those words not me! “Woe to the world because of offenses!” Jesus said: [Matt. 18: 7]:
Let God be the Judge upon us all!!
